Women's Foil Captain Gwen Bonca of North Olmsted, was our only representative at the Caldera D and Under Foil Tournament. Being a non-USFA tournament only 5 competitors took part. Gwen had a 3 and 1 record in the first round, barely missing a perfect record with her only loss being 5-4. In her direct elimination, Gwen was catching up, but she fell short, losing 11-10 as time ran out. Gwen finished tied for 3rd place, earning her first fencing award.

January 2, 2010, Caldera Renewed Resolve Tournament, Willoughby, Ohio

Mark Park won 1st place in Open Epee earning his A2010 rating. Teammate Derek Wilkinson took 3rd place out of 22 competitors.

AJ Larkin finished highest in 5th place in Mixed Foil. Head Coach Tom Nagy followed in 7th place out of 25 competitors.

December 4, 2009, Pittsburg North American Cup, Veteran Men's 50 Foil

Head Coach Tom Nagy competed this weekend in the Veteran Men's 50 Foil tournament. There were 40 competitors from all over the country. In the first round Tom had a 2 wins and 4 losses record. He fenced 2 A's, 1 B, 1C, 1 D and 1 U. Three of which were left handed. In the pool Tom scored 3 or more touches against everyone, except Ed Kaihatsu, an A from Chicago. He was seeded 28th for the Direct Elimination round, where he defeated Csarnecki, a U from of Detroit 10-2. The next round Tom drew Neal White, a left handed B from Chicago, the 5th seed. Fencing strong and taking chances he defeated White 10-7 to move to the round of 16. There he was defeated by John Zelkowski, a B from Detroit, 10-4. Tom finished in 16th place.

September 26, 2009, Willoughby, Ohio. Caldera Fencing Club Open Tournament, In Mixed Epee with 25 competitors, Derek Wilkinson took 1st place, with Mark Park finishing in 7th. In Mixed foil, with 26 competitors, Head Coach Tom Nagy finished highest in 5th, teammate AJ Larkin was 8th and earned his D09 rating.

September 12, 13, 2009, Independence, Ohio. Fencers Attacking Diabetes Tournament. In Mixed Epee with 85 competitors, Mark Park finished highest in 11th place, earning his B09 rating. Derek Wilkinson was 17th, Jay Kline was 32nd and climbed to a C09 rating. Ginger Scheel was 85th. In Mixed foil, with 85 competitors, Head Coach Tom Nagy finished highest at 28th, followed by Joe Gonzalez in 30th, AJ Larkin finished at 37th and Emily Wasil was 71st.

August 15, 2009, Cleveland, Ohio. AJ Larkin finished 2nd of 15 in the Cyrano's Place Mixed Foil, teammate Anson Eckel followed in 3rd. Emily Wasil was 11th. In Mixed Epee, Anson Eckel was 3rd out of 11.

July 18, 2009, Columbus, Ohio. Derek Wilkinson has become the 1st On target Fencer EVER to win his A rating in Epee. This is truly a historial occasion. Whoever knows or fences with Derek, knows that this result has been a long time coming and is well deserved. CONGRATULATIONS DEREK !!!.

Derek Wilkinson finished highest in Mixed Epee at 3rd place out of 42. Men's Epee Captain Mark Park was 14th. Heather Wilkinson was 23rd and and Coach Jeff Rodachy was 24th.

Head Coach Tom Nagy was 5th out of 21 in Mixed Foil. He renewed his D rating.

April 5, 2009, April Fools at Kent State, Kent, Ohio

Derek Wilkinson finished highest in Mixed Epee at 6th place out of 30. Heather Wilkinson came in at 14th place. Men's Epee Captain Mark Park was 17th and Coach Jeff Rodachy was 24th.
